Lead Generation Representative
Job Description
The Lead Generation Representative at Ninth House will report to the Inside Sales Manager and focus on the generation, nurturing and management of leads for the Outside Sales Force at Ninth House. The Lead Generation Representative will focus on making sure all leads receive the proper response and that qualified leads are passed onto the appropriate Outside Account Executive. This position will require a high volume of output in terms of telephone calls and email follow-up.
Responsibilities:
- Provide the first line of response to all inbound enquiries (including telephone, web and marketing enquiries) about Ninth House and our products.
- Contacting leads via focused outbound targeting and building early stage relationships that can develop into future sales.
- Monitor ongoing leads for diligent follow-up to make sure that interested parties receive multiple points of contact with Ninth House, ensuring that a lead can develop properly and become “sales ready”.
- Assisting Ninth House’s Sales and Marketing efforts by promoting our various sales campaigns and marketing events via telephone and email.
- Keeping the pipeline of available leads for Outside full at all times, so Account Executives can focus on selling Ninth House, rather than spending time focused on prospecting accounts.
- Tracking all key metrics related to lead generation in SalesForce.com. Providing other reporting on lead generation activities as assigned by the Inside Sales Manager.
Qualifications:
- B.A. or B.S. Degree strongly preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in a telemarketing, sales or lead generation environment with proven ability to generate opportunities for a sales organization that lead to high levels of revenue.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills required, with proven qualifications to demonstrate those skills over the telephone.
- Ability to work as a team player with multiple internal and external customers.
- Superior time management and organization skills to manage high volume of output of calls and email required by position.
- A positive attitude, a sense of fun and a “courteously aggressive” style.
- Professional Sales Training considered an added plus, as is exposure to Leadership Development Training as an industry.

National Accounts Director
Job Description
Ninth House’s National Accounts Directors assume responsibility for building and maintaining a customer base in an assigned territory, and for consistently generating high levels of revenue by selling to large organizations especially in the Fortune 500. You will strategize with Sales Management and focus on developing and selling our most complex solutions, through demonstrated success and experience with a consultative sale of leadership development training.
Responsibilities:
- Researching the Fortune 500 market and identifying potential customers.
- Contacting leads and determining interest level, technical readiness and budget availability.
- Identifying customer needs and creating proposals that leverage the Ninth House solutions to meet those needs.
- Explaining the features and values of the Ninth House® solutions to senior-level buyers / decision-makers within the customer organization.
- Determining / negotiating business terms of potential deal.
- Facilitating the contract negotiation process, eliminating obstacles to purchase, coordinating with the Operations/Contract Team.
- Handing completed sales off to the Learning Services Team ensuring a smooth transition and positive experience for the customer.
- Maintaining positive relationships with customers and checking in to ensure satisfaction. Mining current customer relationships for up-sale possibilities and renewals.
- Keeping Sales Management abreast of developments in major accounts.
- Accurately forecasting numbers and value of deals that will close for budget purposes in Salesforce.com
Qualifications:
- Consistent track record and demonstrated success as a top producer within organizations.
- Strong ability in consultative sales and connecting organizational business needs to training solutions.
- 5-10+ years experience selling leadership development training solutions in a business to business environment (if fewer than 7 years experience in sales, the experience must come from selling Ninth House specifically or a solution that has features which are directly transferable).
- B.A. required; advanced degrees or training in especially in business or organizational development an added plus.
