From its inception, Ninth House sought to create a whole new approach to learning built on the power of storytelling. Great stories, such as parables and legends are passed down through generations not only for the important lessons they teach, but because they engage the hearts and imaginations of the listener. Blockbuster movies, breakthrough videogames, heart-stopping simulations, also serve as models for  effective learning by leveraging media to engage an individual's emotions and cause an experience to "stick".
